Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art steeped with tradition and heritage. Taekwondo dates back some 2000 years, where it was originally taught to the Military elite Hwrang-Do. Taekwondo training provides numerous benefits including:

Whiteway's Taekwondo addresses both the traditional style of Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo and the modern adaptation "Olympic" competition Taekwondo, as featuring in the Sydney 2000 Olympic games


 

When you decide to train with Whiteway's Taekwondo, you are assurred of the highest standards of experienced instruction. All Instructors are personally assessed and trained by Master Instructor Alan Whiteway to the highest standards. All Instructors are recognised by The Australian Institute of Sports Coaching Accreditation Program and are holders of internationally accredited World Taekwondo Federation Kukkiwon Blackbelt certificates, endorsed with a minimum of 2nd Dan Blackbelt status.

The flexibility and responsiveness that is dramatically increased through regular training has shown to not only improve onfield sporting performance, but reduce the risks of injury. Thorough stretching and flexibility training, including strategic warm up and cooling down exercises provides both long and short-term benefits to regular attendees.
